Erik & Brittany: Engaged

Erik & Brittany have the cutest story. They met last year when two of their friends got married and they were both in the wedding party. Erik is from Oregon, Brittany is from Missouri. The wedding party spent some time at a local mini golf and arcade and Erik & Brittany played skeeball together and Erik tried to impress her by shooting hoops into the arcade basketball goal. It must have worked because here they are, getting married in July and starting their lives together! We got to run by the place where they played skeeball together, so now they’ll have some photos to show their grandkids someday :) Here are a few of my favorites…

Alaina & Daryll: Married

This was such a beautiful wedding. The love between these two shines through in Alaina’s smile (as you can so clearly see!). It was super windy outside, and it ended up storming after the wedding, but we had a great time before the rain hit! Here are a few of my favorites.

Aundrea & Travis

Aundrea and Travis aren’t engaged, and they aren’t newlyweds either..they’ve been married for 6 years! Aundrea is a photographer and I’m so glad that I got the chance to take some photos of the two of them. It’s hard for us photographers to get on the other side of the lens sometimes :) The last photos of Aundrea and Travis layed out on the sheet music were her idea, I want to give her credit for the creativity there :) Enjoy some of my favorites!

Dave & Amber: Engaged

Another special engagement session- Dave, aka “David Charles” (what I grew up calling him) is my dad’s cousin, so that makes him my…2nd cousin? We’re family, I know that :) I was glad to get to know Amber a little better and we had fun walking around Crown Center together (where Dave proposed!). Some huge dark clouds rolled in right at the end of our session which you can see in the last few photos- pretty awesome looking!

The Gray Family

I was so happy when Briana Gray (of Shades of Gray Photography) contacted me about doing a family session. We are the same age, both moms, christians, and obviously we both have the whole photography thing in common :) We got together this past weekend and I had a great time with her, her husband Phil and precious boys. I was so happy to see little Gabe again! Remember these of him when he was just a little baby?? Well now he’s standing up, balancing himself on his little scooter (that grandpa made!!) and eating birthday cake! Drew & Kaitlin: Engaged

It’s definitely that time of year- engagement sessions galore! I LOVE the colors outside right now. It’s not too hot yet but everything is green and vibrant. Fresh and new. Kaitlin and Drew are getting married in December and I can’t wait for their wedding. They are sweet and silly with each other and know how to make each other laugh (aaaand me too, I was laughing quite a bit at their funny interactions and Drew’s silly faces he would give Kaitlin to make her laugh) Their puppy, Ein, is pretty cute too:) Here are a few of my favorites from our time together!

Maddie: Senior

I was so glad to finally get to meet Maddie! We have been facebook friends since we first talked about doing her senior pictures, but we rescheduled about a billion times, so it felt a little surreal to actually get these photos done! I am seriously impressed with this girl. She’s a photographer and has shot lots of her friends senior pictures, as well as other portraits, and she has her own magazine! (Technically I think she has a friend doing it with her, but still, these girls are in high school..and they have a magazine!) I think Maddie is going to go far. I can see her being a successful business woman in no time at all. And she’s cute on top of it all ;) Here are some of my favorites from our session together.
